Steven Chandler. I do not usually pursue artists but this one I did. He lives with his wife, LeEllen and daughter, Sienna in Georgia. He pulled off the best coup I have seen since I have been in this business. I enjoyed it so much. It was about Bill Traylor, No one got hurt but it sure stirred a lot of emotions!
Per Steven Chandler--"Here is a Giant Man. All he wanted was a safe place to sit so he could drink and play a tune. Now he was stuck in this Magnolia. The leaves are falling. The hounds are wailing and he can't get out of the tree."--on plyboard--20" x 20".---framed in a solid Tiger Maple frame!
By Steven Chandler "This painting here really looks like my mother. But the pipe she's smoking is a dead give away for any country granny. I know my granny smoked a pipe way back before I existed. She has a Hewell Pottery bowl. Yes, that is the same bowl I have used in all my Hewell Bowl related paintings."…This is 12 3/4" x 12 3/4" on Matboard. Framed on paneling in a solid Tiger maple frame it is 18 1/2" x 18 1/2".

Georgia Brown Trasher with Pigmy Rattle Snake is one of Steven's favorite paintings! It is 26 1/2" x 35 1/2" on old 1/2" weathered plyboard. This is a great painting!
"These Georgia's Brown Trashers live around my House. They are like Bull Dozers. They will take on anything even a Pigmy Rattlesnake."
