We are open Friday and Saturday from 10:30 AM until 5:00 PM. We also open by appointment.

Graves Country Gallery was opened in 1984, and has been continually in business since, giving us over 25 years of experience. We have both a physical location and a large website.

Our physical location is in Lodi, California at 15 North Cherokee Lane. We have been there for approximately 18 years. We are opened mostly by appointment but try to open every Friday and Saturday. Please phone or email if you are coming from afar.

Our website is our main stay. It keeps us going. As of today, June 1, 2010, our website represents 49 artists, 54 different categories, and lists 351 pieces of art. I try to update daily so you are looking at a current inventory. Yes, I goof sometimes but I am turning 74 years old so I guess I can be cut some slack!

I am the one in the family who loves the art. I have been buying and selling for about 35 years. I am considered a grandfather in the field and I am known to many as “olRoff”. I was given that name a few years ago by a potter, Josh Boock and it stuck!

We have known many of the artists we represent. I have out lived some such as Reverend Finster, Reverend W.C. Rice, Jimmy Sudduth, Annie Wellborn, Bobby Ferguson, and Mose Tolliver. We remain friends with Bernice Sims and many of the other artists.

We publish a monthly newsletter. Readers are often offered prizes so it pays to read the newsletters. I write the letter and often tell stories of our family, the artists, potters, and carvers. As you search through the website you will see photos appearing of our family and many friends in this world of folk art and antiques.

In closing, our policy! The artist must win, we must win, and you, our customer must win! There must be no loser in our business dealing.
