Graves Country Gallery was opened in 1984. We have been at our present location for 12 years. We, the proprietors are Roff and Arlene Graves.  Roff, age 68, is a retired State of California Investigator as well as being a licensed Private Investigator. Arlene, ageless, is retired from
San Joaquin Delta College.

Roff is the active one in the folk/outsider art world. He has collected since the 1970s, commencing with Clementine Hunter. Arlene sits on the sidelines and loves the art world but permits Roff to take the lead. She is an avid Stock Market watcher and participates frequently.

We sell nationwide but no longer sell outside of the United States--too much to handle. We sold at Folk Fest in Atlanta, Georgia from 1996 through 2001. The long haul driving was just too much. We love the Slotins and keep in touch with them.

We deal in really good early American antiques. We specialize in country items such as stoneware, firkins, decoys, furniture -- you name it as long as it is good, and it is country. We sold at the California Country show for years. We support it 100%. Tom Baker is great to work with and he  is a fine young man!

We hope to take you with us on our journey. On our web site you will meet people we love. We will tell you about our many grandchildren (lost track of how many but it is in the twenties, maybe thirties.) We will introduce you to friends. We will share our love of the folk/outsider art, pottery and face jugs, and antiques with you. We hopefully will bring you some articles by that wonderful writer and folk/outsider art dealer, Joe Adams.  We will bring some comments by the retired rancher, Joe Disch.
